I know all of you guys are big MidSouth users. Just wondering if you had a top 10 of colors for anyone wanting to have some in the boat just in case they need them:)

These are my top ten colors... I almost always use them with a Chart/redeye, Pink/Orange jig head with black n white eyes. There is always a nibble/minnow on them, and almost always trim the jig strands with equal length on each side of the hook. If im using a 1/32 oz head ill leave two or three strands on each side of hook. If im using a larger head ill leave three or four strands on each side. Most times you will find a few badly cut strands that are short and triangled. Those are the ones I pull off. i then will pull some from the other side always leaving an equal number of strands and length on each side of the hook. I also inspect the strands to make sure they are not connected at the end. If the paint on my jig head is badly chipped i will change it for one that isnt chipped. Hope this helps. Always use a small loop knot.
Handi, a good assortment is critical, check out the pro series by midsouth, they are a lot bigger profile, Midsouthman posted a picture earlier today, these are sure to be a crappie killer, midsouth is by far the best tube in my opinion, they have the plastic mix right, they are soft and yet very durable. In my opinion crappie prefer them over other brands. I have fished side by side with other guys and they would be using a different brand but in the same color and I would catch 3 to their one.
I agree Mid South is My plastic of choice...Meatgetter is my hair jig of choice... ive seen days when one will out fish the other. But for me Meatgetter and Midsouth jigs most always put fish in the boat for me. I love the slab slayer/buster or stinger type of baits. You put these baits in your box with some Bobby Garland and Southern Pro product of different styles and sizes. All these are the starting baits to become a verticle jig master. Dont forget Lake Fork baits either. There are many fine companys. The companys iv'e mentioned above are my absolute favorite tho and for me my box is stuffed with a bunch of each. LOL
Handi I think you got several colors to choose from, now it's decision time, that's the hardest part for me is picking the colors I will have the most confidence in, those that I named off are my top picks, however I did leave out a color I have become fond of for catching crappie when the water gets real cold, I have found that the colder the water the better luck I have is on electric chicken, pink and char. Good luck in picking, I think midsouth has a jig for every color in the color spectrum.
The main reason I want to add some Midsouth tackle to my collection is that they offer some more colors than my main go to plastics do. I have become a big lake fork baby shad guy and recently added some slab bandits to the collection of my plastics. Going to add me some Midsouth tackle the next time I'm in Jonesboro. Never know when you might need some and besides can anyone really have to much fishing gear????

Lord, I hope not.
The new glitter head jigs are my favorite colors. Silver glitter and chartreuse or pearl. Red glitter, purple glitter, green glitter, bronze glitter, blue glitter all with chartreuse jig. Also the glow jig line are a must have lime green, yellow, orange, brown, black all on chartreuse the pearl glow combos are good to just choose your own weapon.
Mid South, Ozark Rods and Hi Tek Pro Staff.
I'm by no means the pros that these fellas are, but the only tube I fish is Mid South and I only use a few colors. I've caught fish in east AR oxbows, AR river backwater, and Lake Conway all with good success on these colors: white/chart, pink/chart, and chart glow. Not elaborate, but I only single pole fish w no electronics and manage to keep our freezer full with this selection. Good fishin!!!
