My daughter just accepted a job working at the hospital in Macon. Today she spent the whole day looking at apartments and found the prices to be really high. I'm telling her to look outside of Macon, something within 30 minutes, and she should be able to find something safe, nice, and affordable. Now I know on a limited time frame it's gonna be hard finding anything so I felt like maybe you guys can point us in the right direction?!? I'm hoping so anyways.
Hey Butch I'll be back in town by Sunday and I may can help you out. My oldest brother lives in Macon and his wife retired from Macon Medical Center. I think he just might know of some decent housei8ng for your daughter. I'll shoot you a PM late Monday.
Thanks Rusty. Any info you can get will help at this point. I want her to be safe (living in the right neighborhoods) and she's hunting something affordable. Looking forwards to hearoing from you Monday.:)
She would probably be much better off living in Warner Robins or Gray than Macon. Short ride from the hospital to both of those towns. Is she looking for an apartment on a house? Congrats to her on the new job. Some good fishing close to her around Macon which will be a good excuse for you to come visit her often!

shine, she's looking for an apartment. From what prices she's finding I think she's going to look for a two bedroom apt. and then try getting a roommate to help by splitting the bills (cheaper that way it seems).
Have lived in Ma-conga all my life wish I had a exit plan to get out of here Warner Robins Gray or Forsyth much safer and better
Some great info guys. Looks like I'll be headed to macon on my two days off next week to help her check out some places. Gray....I've been to Macon by way of Eatonton & Gray but all I did was turn right at the light in Gray headed there. I didnt see enough of Gray to realize that it was a town of much size because of where I turned. Where is the housing located in Gray?
