Kinda Funny
Got a call from a buddy of mine. He's been catch'n some fish. Seems he got into'um pretty good day before yesterday & neglected to measure a couple.
This guy had NEVER been checked! That is till day before yesterday. You can guess what happened.
He said "I was catchn'um so fast I didn't want to waste time and measure'um right then." We both got a big laugh outta it! :Rofl
Incase you were wondering... The cost of a short fish is $50 per fish + $152.50 court cost. Each fish can be a separate charge! :yikes
Pretty expensive meat! I'm think'n it figures out to over $400 a pound. :Rofl
He's an honest guy & I'm sure it was an honest mistake but I will NEVER let him live it down! :biggrin

A guy could eat at some of the best stake houses in the country for that much Brother! I always check unless they are 14 or 15 inches. And it they are right on the mark or a fraction over I usually let them go. As stupid as it sounds I have had fish, bass in particular, seem to draw-up in a live well and measure under. I was fishing a small tournament up by the Moors and saved a 14 incher (when the limit was 14). It was right at the mark mouth closed and tail drawn together. But the stupid thing was a 1/4 inch under when I got to the scales.:yikes I think he tensed up in the livewell. :banghead I need a come-along, chain, and a tree. Or drop a couple Prozac in the livewell water. :Rofl
