Maybe I need xanax
My very first post on here wasn't exactly great. I was really ticked and used this forum as a way to vent...that's fine I guess, but not at the expense of others. So...I owe an apology to crappieken and anyone else I might have offended. I will say, after spending a little time talking to crappieken, that he is not only a fine fisherman, but enjoyable to talk to as well. Like I said, maybe I need a xanax. That said, does anyone else get bent out of shape over fishing, or am I the only one?

You didn't say what you were bent out of shape over.
I don't get bent out of shape over fishing per se, usually its the other boaters that are inconsiderate imo, the guys in the big cabin cruisers who throw a big wake out while you're trying to longline a cove or shoreline, the guy that goes by real slow (he has the side scan units), then circles back and gets in behind you, and sometimes tangles your lines cause he got too close, or the guys that race ahead of you and get in front of you while trolling. Or the guy that tries not to throw a big wake by just barely being on plane or not quite on plane, and ends up throwing a bigger wake than if he just gone WOT. LOL. These are reasons I don't have a concealed carry permit either . LOL.

Nothing wrong with Xanax. For maxium effect. Wash them down with cold beer. You still may vent but, it will be in a totally different way.

If you keep it all bottled up inside you, then that could cause more problems than venting it out like going postal on ppl.

Ken was in shorts when it was 50! Those old guys are tough! LOL sorry that is all I really remember from your post. I have gotten close to guys corks fishing from the bank, day dreaming, but I always apologize.

Sparky - I wasn't in a boat that day and I wasn't in shorts. I was one of the guys on the docks that day that don't know how to catch crappie. I wear earmuffs and long johns except for the summer months. lol
