Ive heard good things about Art's Marine, dont know what your problem is but give them a call and see if they can turn it out by weds..
My experiences with arts marine have not been good, they are proud of thier work and they show it in their prices. H2o sportz on rixey road in Sherwood is fair and they are thorough and 99% of the time they are very timely.
Call Jim Lewis in Altheimer 870-395-1486. Its an hours drive but you'll save 75% of what it would cost you plus he'll prally fix it while youre there. at Arts plus Arts is normally several weeks behind.
Other than that get Larry or Moe or whatever his name it at H20 to take care of it.
If its carbs on a 40 Johnson call ahead where they can have the wholesaler drop off a rebuild kit as they may not stock em.
My experiance with H2O sports maint shop have not been good at all... and thats where I bought my boat. 1st off they installed a Hummingbird depth finder with cheap connectors that come undone during a tourney I had to repair. Took my boat too them twice to get the arrow indicator on my TM repaired they installed when i bought it and under warranty. It seemed to work fine when i checked it there but when i got it on the water it just quit working. After taking it to them TWO TIMES they said bring it back and they would fix it a third time. I told them If I brought it back a third time all the way from Conway I wanted a new trolling motor to replace that one. They declined to do it but said bring it back a third time and will fix it and it all ended with a heated arguement with the guy who installs stuff there in the shop. No thanks i'll get my boat Maintenace done somewhere else from now on.
Sorry bout your luck crappie pro, I have never had any bad service there, I have known that whole crew for many years and they have never done me wrong. They have always gone out of their way to help and get done with what I needed done. I guess you win some and you lose some. I am negative on Arts marine and you are negative on H2O sportz. I wish you Good luck Lostcrappie in whom ever you take it to. Riverside marine out on hiway 70 going towards England, just off of interstate 440 has also done me right. Ask for Stan Dickerson.
From what I hear the guy that used to run H20 (Ken A. I think) is no longer there and the new GM is much more efficient/reliable.
I second that Arts Marine is pricey and there is usually a long wait. Sorry i dont have any recommendations either.
