Me and a friend fished from 7-3. 8 bass total, 1 keeper and one choupique. The water in the cut to the west of Pelba is the clearest I've ever seen. North Pelba is pretty clear too.
We tried tightlining at I-10 for a bit but couldn't buy a bite.

you did better than me....fished there yesterday 10 to 2:30.....got one drum ....no bass....no sacs....I tried south, north, railroad piling (drum) and I10......I noticed the clear water also.....maybe I should have brought some shiners.....
Went today and caught about 15 sacalait and keep 4 bass
great, glad to know they are still around.....you definitely know those waters and that is what makes the best fisherman.....Quote:
