Well, it was cold & windy, but we were determined !! I only got to take a few pics, since the wind was relentless and followed me wherever I went :bash
Seriously ... we'd go to a bank that was "out of the wind" & with relatively calm water, and no sooner than I'd get the trolling motor down .... BAM, here'd come the wind from whatever direction was most likely to create a problem with staying on a spot :banghead ... and it happened over & over & over & :dono why Ma Nature was so ticked off at me, but she was not a happy camper for some reason or another & must have thought it was MY fault :Rofl
Anyway, all that aside ... we stayed at Holmes Bend, in one of their cottages. Very nice lodgings, very friendly staff, great food .... so thanks to them for their hospitality.
Total fish caught - somewhere around 100
Total keepers kept & cleaned - 30
Size range - 9" - 12" fish
Depth range fished - 15 to 24 feet of water
Water surface temp : Fri - 71* ... Sat & Sun - 61-62* (thanks to a cold rain all night Friday night !! )
What we were looking for :

(sorry about the fuzzy pic ... I was COLD :Rofl )
What we saw most often :

What happened when we saw images like this on the depth finder (notice the long pole is starting to dip down, & at the same time the shorter pole's line is heading back under the boat !! )

Then my partner Carl would "go on point" :

And while I was watching him & trying to get a few pics ... MY pole does a little bounce & dip, so I have to stop playing photographer & go back to playing "fisherman" ... and haul this one in :

And put him in with his friends & family :

And just so you know what the conditions were "really" like ... here's a picture of the lake when it was calm enough to take a picture, and not have to be concentrating on the trolling motor, so as to not be slammed against the rock walls :Rofl (I think this was about the calmest time/spot we were on, the whole 3 days ... and even that only lasted for the few seconds it took me to take the picture  )

And while Carl & I were battling the 40deg temps, drizzling rain, & 15mph winds blowing ever which a way all at the same time .... my friends, Chucky & T.slabseeker were enjoying the calm waters & balmy weather down at KY Lake :biggrin
... cp :kewl
