Headed for the bottom of lake Conway, should be ready to fish in a few days. Instant fish cover, this cedar tree has been drying for over a year. If I ain't putting my cart before the horse it should hold a limit of crappie every trip along with the other brush I have sunk.
Good looking tops and they should hold plenty of fish. Thanks for you hard work guru!

I have sunk a lot of cedar tops, that is the only way I will sink cedar, I like for it to dry for a year after I cut them. I have found that they last along time and crappie love them. Sinking Christmas trees is a waste of time, they are to dense and if you thin them out there is nothing there when you are done. Christmas tree limbs are to thin and spindly. I will sink cedar like these and I like oak and fruit tree limbs for brush piles some times if I can get them persimmon limbs are really good.Quote:
