Another good day on Gold creek ended bad
I posted yesterday about trolling motor burning up on the way back to dock I got that fixed but had another experiance today.First the good part we my fish partner and I were doing pretty good we stopped to count our fish we keep them in fish basket we had 15 each.The best part is I had nailed a real hog weighed 2.10 LBS biggest crappie I have caught in a long time did not take a picture or measure was going to do that when I got home.The next part is the bad a fellow came by us and wanted too see the big un reached down for basket and it was empty the bottom door was open and every fish gone.Needless to say I was quite disappointed we wire tyied the bottom door shut but as is said the horse was already gone.Lesson to my fellow fisherman do trust fish baskets.My wife says why do you tell on yourself if you cannot tell your dumb moves your life will be full of stress and you will die of a heart attack losing some fish is not the end of the world.I am going back after that big un I know where he lives.Good fishing KS and PS check your basket!!
