Man I don't want to sound stupid, but I have been trying to figure out what an aero jig is? It looks like a catcher for sure, but please tell me what aero stands for.

It's the brand name of jigs made by Hawken Fishing. They make a bunch of different styles under the name, but the one everyone thinks of as THE Areojig is the one with a twisted chenille and hackle tail. They're mainly used for salmon and steelhead, and just about any tackle shop worthy of the name out here on the west coast carries them.

Good lookin jig. Spotted bass would also be all over that around here. They like the fuzzy look.
