Loomis Lake Valpo

Had a great day yesterday on Loomis Lake, crappie where holding in ten feet and near some brush, until that sun started to set things where doing great, had a few small marble eyes too. The only thing about this lake is the darned boat launch, I have to do the slam on the brakes thing to get boat off trailer ( electric only here ) then try to get it back on without falling in.:biggrin Attachment 104824Attachment 104825Attachment 104826

nice catch, it's a shame they closed the boat rental on the other end of the lake, I used to go there quite often and slay 'em just befor dark. There's some dandy bass in there too.

BTW, Flint has some great crappie fishin' too on the North end of the lake.

Good to see the FOF(Friends of Fishing) walleye stocking has taken hold.
