Went to Millwood Lake Tuesday (16th) to Friday(19). Crappie were very slow, only caught a few. Even the locals said it was bad. BUT, I caught about 50 white bass Thursday evening in front of a small creek and they were good size, 1# to 2 1/2#. They really put up a fight, they destroyed two of my crank baits. Water temp was 65 and it should have been better but that's the way it goes, maybe next time.
Maybe next time is right, the crappie in millwood are second to none, if you get on some of them you will fill your Livewell fast, there is some hoss crappie in that body of water for sure.
I fish millwood religiously. Next time you head this way, give me a call. I would be glad to take you out.
