New to freshwater fishing

hi all. hate to admit it but i'm a new guy to fw fishing. saltwater runs thru my viens so i needed to thin it out. i am heading to fla next month to the mt dora area and hope to get my line wet. thanks for letting me in.

Definitely drop by the Florida Forum. It's a great group there willing to help out. My husband grew up jig fishing in Arkansas and when we started crappie fishing in Florida last year he couldn'tt figure out where the fish were hanging out with no structure in the lakes like he was used to back home and I knew zero about it. After a few frustrating fishing trips we found this forum and voila.... Next trip we caught some crappie and had a blast. Great people on here with lots of helpful info about pretty much anything, especially crappie fishing.
