would anyone on hear be interested in some deer tails
How many?? are they cured already?? and what would you need in trade??
Fatman, I don't think it would be needed. Curing prevents slippage (hair falling out) on hides. I have a deer tail that was given to me last year, nothing done to it other than being removed, and it's still 100% intact.
They would be uncured but salted to help remove moisture from the hide (helps prevent spoilage) I would have several from processing.I would be interested in trading for unpainted jigs.
I have way too many tais now so I wouldn't have any interest and I don't pour my own heads so I wouldn't be a good one for that anyway. I would think some may want them though!
good luck and I bet someone will want them!
one other thing you could say about them that may make them more desirable if they are Southern buck tails in place of Northern?
How many tails you got?
