The goal is to get enough spots so I don't need to spider rig. Best trip with the jig pole only has been 5 fish, hope that will change soon.

Hey , don't you have any old fence rows with Persimmon that need cleaned out? We just sunk a large trailer load in Nimrod last week. Those will work but don't look very durable?

They are not very durable. You need to replace about every year or so, but they do get fish on them fast. The short ones are for spring, the tall ones are going where I think will be good fishing this fall. I could probably come up with some cypress which would last me till I die.Quote:

A person does not need coordinates when he has good electronics, if he knows how to use them, but it does save time knowing where you're going ahead of time. As far as the buoys, I know you don't need those in YOUR boat. Come and fish anytime there will be plenty of room for another boat once the weather gets cold. I figure you could show me a thing or two about fishing, and everyone knows I need all the help I can get.:biggrin
