I have a lowrance and an aluiminum xpress. I need to mount transducer without making holes. Does naybody have any advice for accomplishing this. I tried ussing JB weld and a white cutting board. It lasted about 4 months. :banghead

Why not just put it on your TM?
Or just bite the bullet and drill the holes if you put it on the transom. If you do this, mount it up high enough that when you are running thru the woods during duck season it don't get ripped off when jumping logs or levees.
Take it off for hunting or mount on a tm mount u can take on and off boat.
Someone makes a mount for a jack plate. I'm sure the same could be done on a regular motor mount. I'll try to dig up the info...
I'd be interested in that to rcc. I'm trying to get all my stuff I need gathered up before I go beg big bill to install my new graphs for me.
I already have one on the TM. I use this the rear one for depth control and navigation. Thanks for the advice about placement for hunting LM. I always take off the transducer for hunting. I have a cord that gives just power to unit. I use this for navigation duck hunting.

My boat came with this small bracket already welded on. It is open on the inside an you can easily attach your transducer. Should be pretty simple to have someone weld u a small aluminum piece like this on your boat. Hope this helps.

I do not have one but always wished I had checked them out before I drilled.
something to consider is the "stern mate" and the "sternsaver". I used the "sternsaver" on my Tracker PT175 to mount my LLS-1 TD, and has worked very well for the 6 months since I installed it. both are a glue on type (no screws), have no opinion on the stern mate but am considering getting another stern saver and lower my 2d TD down to the step on my transom where I mounted the LLS 1 but will have to make sure I won't have a clearance issue or possibly blocking the SI image if I move it down.
