Anybody make these?
So i bought some new jigs at a local bait shop and i want more but i dont want to pay the price he is selling them for! I have never seen these before and he has them special made by somebody and sells them for $1 a piece. They have been working awesome for me on the mississippi river the past week! All they seem to be is some kind of tinsel with a small rubber body. I have been putting them on a 1/32oz. barbless jighead and it has been working perfect. Anybody know where i can buy some or how to make some myself?

Ship made this nice tutorial on how to make them:
http://www.crappie.com/crappie/jig-t...em-photos.html
Although the ones picture looked dipped.

They almost look like hollow tubes, with thetail trimmed. Then stuffed with marabou or something.
-
Its just flash like grizzley flash and rubber im sure ship could make you those
-
Could be stuffed in there but it sure looks like the material was placed in the mold and then it was poured, or somebody did a really good job on em!!!!!!!
-
looks to me they have been tied at the waist
, making the shorter front fibers to spread out a bit, then dipped.
There is a Dip It product on the market that should work, normally used to dip tool handles.
It's also possible the front fibers were trimmed in a rounded nose shape before dipping.

Yes i am pretty sure they are dipped and they are not hollow. I just dont know if there is a mold for this kind of thing or if you just dip the fibers in some kind of rubber?

I like them. Looks like a good ice fishing jig to me!
