Anyone on here ever put a cut transducer cable back together with any success? Thank goodness it's not my good one. This is just one of the cheap humminbirds.

Yes, solder and either heat shrink or liquid tape. I've done a couple. Ya just gotta take your time since the wires are so tiny.

I have heard of several folks on here that have spliced them with good results.
call the wizzard he will be at camp ask him to bring his stuff and put on a demo.

Yes, I have fixed several. Cut the cover back and off set your splices. I slide a larger piece of heat shrink over cable then smaller pieces for connections. Make connections heat shrink then slide big piece over and shrink it.

To insure they are water proof use liquid tape on each individual wire then heat shrink them indiviually then liquid tape again and then heat shrink over the whole thing.
