Windy, Cool, and loads of Fun
Kid came home from School for the weekend and we headed out today to do some white/wiper fishing....he doesn't have the patience just yet to crappie hunt.
Went to a couple of the "go to spots' up lake and they produced. Had to bring in the lines and only fish with one rod each as they were pounding them. Water temps 68f, using small willow bladed 3/8oz white or red headed jigs with translucent green & pepper 4" twister tails in 12-22fow....drifting through the spots and then slow trolling back up wind to do it again. medium speed retrieve.
Caught 40+ at least
Lake is pretty low, good thing is marking lots of spots on the humminbird for when it fill back up. The ramp at Curtis is very very shallow but School is good to go......thats a good one anyway as it has very little traffic and mid-point on the lake
