Just got off the phone with Randy. Had a good talk and he said to say hi to all you.
Bruce was scheduled to have a biopsy of his lymph nodes this Friday and if they were clean, they were going to do a minor procedure to remove the cancer on his lung but if the lymph node biopsy came back positive, then they were going to have to do radiation & chemo to knock that down and THEN go for the lung later.
Well...he wasn't feeling too good recently so went in to get checked at his doctor in Racine and they discovered he was in stage 4 renal failure so now they aren't even doing the biopsy on Friday...need to get his kidneys straightened out before they can do anything else or before it gets so bad he's on dialysis. So they have a kidney doctor, a heart doctor and a lung cancer doctor all working together in Racine.
Wish I had better news. Hopefully this is as bad as it gets and they start getting some forward momentum with Bruce.
