Fine Tuning
Ventured forth this afternnoon full of confidence. As previously posted I was armed with a "root Doctor approved " Spek locating divining rod. For scientific reasons I returned to Lake Cohoon. At first it pointed out a snapping turtle. I realized some fine tuning would be required. While facing true north the divining rod was calibrated to fulfil its mission. The results, revealed its true powers. Speks were caught many in number small in size. Further calibration is in order.
As a side note , a pattern did emerge. All fish (approx. 25) were caught in the shade. The other day the method that worked was casting. Today all but 2 were caught trolling 6' deep in water 8' to 14'.
I have seen this shade pattern before but not as prevalent as today.
