Spent 5 hours yesterday all over the lake, for first 3 hours nothing. Tried deep, shallow, trolling, an casting. Around 4 pm a few started to feed. Caught a grand total of 13 speks, the biggest went a whopping 10". A few yp and 1 large flier were reeled in. All fish were caught around 4 to 6 feet deep in water 8 to 14 feet. Jigs only, white seemed the best choice.
Was it 9/14 yesterday up there in Virgina! lol

I got 66 there on July 28 (mostly on bluegrass BGBS) but nothing near 12". I haven't been back since. Some lakes turn on with cold late summer nights and others turn off. Hope you have better luck next time.
