If any of you deer hunt
Be careful while climbing and building treestands and stuff. Feesh and I had a very close friend who was finishing up a shooting house this weekend and had a terrible accident. He was putting the tin on the roof and stepped over on a piece that was not screwed down and fell off the roof some 18 feet or so. Broke his first and third vertebrae up from his waste. Will be in a body suit that keeps him stretched out so his vertebrae can heal. Will have to wear it and do therapy for about 6 months. It all happened in a split second. So just watch what your doin and never never climb without a safety belt!!!!!!

Dang, I hate to here about that accident. I do agree with you that we should be more careful at every step when hunting or fishing. Hope your buddy does well.

Dang man, dont take but a split second. Prayers sent.

Prayers sent......a friend of mine fell from his deer stand last year and they tried but they finally had to amputate his leg a couple months ago

he's really lucky to still be here, he was by himself but managed to drag himself on his 4 wheeler to get to help.
-
Sorry to hear that. Prayers sent.

Wow. Just never know. Glad he was able to get to help, but dang it man that could have been a whole different story. Hope he heals quickly and prayers sent. Saftey ropes and harness are for more than just hunting, but we some times get in just to big of a hurry.

Yep, a harness isn't only for hunting.
