First egg injections
http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l2...injections.jpg
I did some today with some scraps that Bob sent me and I didn't do too bad. Still have to figure out how to prevent most of the bubbles but at least 75% came out complete and whole.
I can't wait to get into the multi color eggs on the skirt bait. Will be harder and take a lot longer but should be an awesome salmon bait for the fall, maybe even steelhead.
Bob, I will get some of those clusters out as soon as I can. My body is not co-operating right now so not safe for me to be handling 350d molten anything. Hopefully soon.

I felt a little better and had to give the new plastics and colorant a try. Didn't turn out half bad. The tiny ones didn't turn out well at all. Full of bubbles but they are really too small for anything I do.
It is amazing how easy it is to be honest. I would have thought there was a lot more to it. Just have to make sure I never get complacent and either burn a batch of plastic or burn myself.
The color is terrible in the picture compared to the real thing. They are very transparent and are an awesome orange color.
This was done with Caney Creek plastic and x2 Fluorescent orange colorant.

They look fantastic! I love the color.on your skirt mold you should make the hole a little bit bigger. I was having trouble with that mold at first until I drilled bigger holes. you are doing a fine job, take care.

Those look great!!! I'd like to see a mold made with 4-5 of those small circles with a flat tail and it'd be a killer for crappie

You mean the skirt with a tail injected with it?
