OK not trying to get anyone fired up and I know there has been discussion similar to this on here before.
Does anyone else think when you sing the National Anthem you should just sing the song like it was written? Why must everyone try to put their own spin on it? The one before the game last night was Terrible.

Could not agree more. I really get a kick when they intro the singer; "National Recording Artist" who gives a ****??? Sing the song like it was written. It's about AMERICA not the sleeze "recording artist".nonono

I liked it , and that's the truth,,, heck it's just an ole beer drinking song redone,,, CNN said so....
Been a personal gripe of mine for a long time. I would like to be present for the singing and whenever they start that crap I'd smack 'em in the mouth and get them back on track.
