Yesterdays catch pic

Well I took the owner of the Roscommon Voice newspaper out in my kayak yesterday morning for a little panfishing. The solunar charts that I checked Saturday were pretty much right on for yesterday. The big feed turned on right at 9:00am and lasted until about 11:30. Was a bit slow at first. Made the change from white jig head to orange and the bite immediately picked up. Then at 9am it was pretty much one after another until the boats really started coming out. Had a great time. Didn't catch any slabs but put 20 decent specks and gills on the string for Mark to take home. Off the water by noon. Couldn't have asked for a better way to start the day.

That's interesting, I've been looking at those solunar charts and the hunting/fishing app on my handheld GPS ... I'm gonna' have to pay closer attention to 'em.
