If that is the case I am looking for a four rod holder to mount to the front deck of my new excel boat, what do you recommend, I want to be able to remove it when I am fishing for other species of fish and not be stumbling on it all the time. Something with a low mounting plate that can stay and just the tbar and rod holders removed.

This is what I use, only I have a longer up right piece and longer sidearms. i have 2 holders on each side of the t. Works great, but still home made.

I personally use the Tite Loks, but I have used the Hi Teks and like them. I sell more Hi Teks cuz they're less money, but the Tite Loks are more versatile, and look better TO ME. They both come off the mounting brackets easily.
