If that is the case I am looking for a four rod holder to mount to the front deck of my new excel boat, what do you recommend, I want to be able to remove it when I am fishing for other species of fish and not be stumbling on it all the time. Something with a low mounting plate that can stay and just the tbar and rod holders removed.Quote:

This is what I use, only I have a longer up right piece and longer sidearms. i have 2 holders on each side of the t. Works great, but still home made.

LM, I like that, my home made holders are done out of 3/4" copper pipe for the tbar, it has 4 rod holders on the tbar.Quote:

I have tried others, but for me Hi-Teks fit my use the best, see Scott Echols he is a member of CC.
