Jig A 'Holics meeting

Ok we are gonna have to have a meeting at crappie camp and discuss how we gonna save more minners. Looks like us boys are getting outnumbered and minners are dying left and right!!

I don't think I have harmed a minner this year (so far). I am not saying I don't use them, but i haven't needed them.

Meatgetter I catch all the law will allow so I better swear off minnows.

MG, I am just learning the spider rigging method of fishing. I have not used a minnow during this process, and actually my wife had to convert to a jig pole fisher woman this year because they wouldn't leave the jigs alone long enough to look at her minnow. And I have caught more fish this year than I ever have in a summer of fishing.


It probably didn't hurt the jigs were pink and chart.

I'm NIMROD and I am a jig-a-holic. I gave up minner dunking and am hooked on jigs.:biggrin:Rofl

if yall go to a real lake and quite fishing in a barrel you will understand. i used jigs all time when i first started spider riggin too . i was fishing the small lakes and oxbows and was catching fish all time,when i started to fish the large lakes and reservoirs some time you caught fish and somedays you could not !!!!!! to catch fish consistently you had to troll with minnows!!! if you check most all of the crappie tour. are won on minnows!!! ronnie capps and steve coleman are 7 times national champion they say any time money on the table there will be a minner on there hook!!!!!! they have won well over a millon dollars fishing minners ,so i think they know a little bit more than most!!!

We all know you really don't like those minner critters, and would really rather only fish with jigs. It's OK, we will let you come back from the dark side.
