if you can`t find bambo you can use PVC pipe . or any kind of pipe . it just doesen`t show up on the depth finder with out a high sensitivity setting .

this is just a few ideas . don`t know thw avaibility of bamboo but there is a few other things you can use .
do a search on condoes or fish attractont.
