Maybe it works like kilometer.Maybe there are some fractions in there.I dont know.
1 knot = 1.15078 mph
100 knots = 115.2 mph

Actual conversion is 1 knot = 1.1508 mph. 50 knots = 57.5 mph. 100 knots = 115.1 mph. Weather Channel is pretty close at 100 knots.
And actually 50 is bout 57

50 knots =57.5 MPH
