Millwood in Fall?

Just curious if anyone has had luck at Millwood in the Fall? Planning a trip for October. Have only fished it in the Spring.

I have fished it manny years in the fall. It can be very good. The water temp is the key to sucess. Watch the locals and see what they are doing. I might even see you down there.

I like to see water temp aroiund 72 and below. It need to be cool enough that the shad are starting to move in to the creek channel. Millwood has a lot of sketters, so I like it to be cool enough at night that the skeeters won't eat me up at . Most years late Oct and early Nov. can be pretty good
