Crank pulling rods
To each his own but pulling cranks is not my thing . There are times like yesterday that the wind say's there has to be a better way . I will never fish tournaments so i only plan to fish three poles . Two questions ? Pull out the back or side ? What length rods ? Since i most likly will do this very little what rods do i buy . I already have some bass rods not being used .

If you're only going to pull three, then off the back would be best. You could get good seperation and it wouldn't matter what length rods you use.

Use your green carp rods if ya ain't gonna do it much, and only running 3-4 rods.

Hey Curtis.....use your old bass rods.....they will be fine.....just position them where you have four feet of separation between the lines.
