Opinion about the Hatchie river

I've never fished the Hatchie river in west tn but was thinking about giving it a try. Has anyone found it to be a good crappie spot? If we ever get rain I'd like to go try it out.

What part of the Hatchie are you looking at fishing?

Well the closest access for me is at hwy 54, hwy 70, and the refuge at interstate 40. I figured one of those ramps
