where to go?

Will be visiting my daughter in Louisville for a few days in mid Oct. Was wondering if crappie fishin was any good that time of year, and where would be the place to go nearby ( within in an hour or two drive ), and with who. Any guide services up there?

Green River Lake is about 1 1/2 hrs away. David Jones is the man down there. Green River Lake Crappie Trips
