non-crappie fishing

I have not been on the normal fishing trips as of late due to the extreme heat. I switched gears a little and this is what I have been doing:

Looks like the makins of a good fish fry! A buddy of mine has been wearin out the Flatheads over on the White River. My guess that's where you caught those.

Nope, but not too far. A couple buddies went the same weekend to the White near DeValls Bluff and got skunked. I guess they don't know how to put out lines in the correct spots. We ony pulled up 4 trees longer than the boat, i gotta learn to not put the lines on top of trees, too much work.

He was so excited. He got to be on the field like a "BIG baseball player".
