We are still seeing several good catches of crappie coming in. The bream and shellcrackers are still biting pretty good as well. Bass are doing well early mornings and late evenings and we are hearing that the catfish are still doing good, especially at night. These hot days are the only thing that are hard to put up with. For those planning on coming to the Super Slabfest in November, the rooms are going fast. Only a few left for that weekend.
Tight Lines!
We were there this past weekend and caught 22 Sat and 14 Sunday in the Morning. Did not fish in the afternoon ........went out to eat with wife. The fish we caught were in 10 - 12 feet of water. Only tried Rocky Comfort, Little River Flats, and Bell Lake. Good to feel the tug on the lines.......water is full pool and looks good.
Some gret reports. That might encourage someone to give it a try cause theyre BITING!!Thumbs Up
Great report, fishing up in In and Ky sucks. Water very low. Will be back at Talquin Oct 7th. Counting days.
Be good for you to get to see us again........and catch few fish.
Looking forward to seeing everybody, this summer is going by fast.
Been wanting some brim to fry, been a while since I had some. All I've been doing is eating fresh scallops off the bottom of the flats. :)
I'll see if RAWHIDE will brave the heat.....
