Iam new to this lake and new to this message board. looking for lodging and a place to start.:confused:

Check out the Grey Goose Inn. Shes right on the way to Honey Creek, theres also a good bait shop right across the street.Im afraid the spawn is winding down, but that means you be able to start drifhting or pulling cranks on the big flats or troll the old river channels with Kentucky rigs.Good summer spot is just west of the mouth of Honey creek where the river channel comes right up to the shore.

I be surprised if you could get a cabin.I know when I talked to the owners in Feb they said they were booked every weeekend.

The cabins looked like what we were looking for, I guess everyone feels the same. The goose looks like a nice place and is close to the area and structure you suggested. Thanks for your help. I will let you know we did.:D
