went and tried winfield lake today, got on the lake at 5:30am and fished till 10am. Caught about 60 dinks and only got 3 between 11 and 12 inches. Managed to grab a 19 inch walleye as well. Prob never going back just because i didnt like the ramp and loading dock and the fact they charge 15 dollars a day. sorry no pictures... threw all back till i get the ones in the freezer ate up.
15 bucks a day?? I can promise them I will never spend that kind of money just to fish! :crazy:

I know of a couple guys that fish Winfield regularly and have had numerous great fishing trips there catching crappie and white bass. They have annual permits and/or live in the county so it makes sense if you live close and go often. If I remember correctly an annual vehicle permit was $60.
