And I was one of them! :cheers2
Ted Kennedy's car has killed more people than any of my guns.
:cheers2
I'm am also one but if someone trys to break into my home of harm my famialy, I wan't be able to say that.
I too was one of the 65 million! ditto for my vehicles!
But what about tomorrow or the next day? :dono EB
I put it to you this way Beave, if saying one of those thugs happens to break into my home or cause harm to me are my kin, lets just say the good lord will take the good from the bad. I am 54 years and have all the bull i can take, if you treat me with respect you will get the same, but if you are a big mouth Iain't the baddest around but you will rember who you meet, and me and you neither are going to look to good . I a country boy, 54 years and don't mind a good fight if it will fix some things. Might need 911 beacuse him of me one will need a ride to the horsepitle, no cops. that just cost tax payers more money.Next time we meet he will go his way and I will go my way or we will fix this one moretime. just my 2 cents
What about it? If someone decides to drive their car into a crowd of people, would you then stop driving? For the remainder of my life I will still choose NOT to be a victim, and I will still choose to defend my own life as well as the lives of those around me because I am a free man with the Right to do so. This Right isn't "allowed" me by any government or piece of paper, it's what being free means. You can exercise your right to be a victim if you so choose, and I won't attempt to tell you that's wrong. All I expect of you is the same in return for choosing my to be responsible for my own well-being. I make my own choices and live with the result of them. I am responsible for myself and won't accept anyone who wishes to interfere with that.
I was having a discussion about a year ago with an anti-gun Cousin, and I asked him what he'd do if he and his new Bride were accosted by a couple of guys while walking down the street. I said "what would you do if they drug her into an alley" (without being overly graphic) and all you could do were to listen to her cries for help. His face turned as white as a sheet as he stammered and stuttered for a reply. He couldn't come up with one so he told me to "leave him alone". He later apologized.
Nobody likes thinking of terrible things like this happening, but ignoring it won't make it go away. I hope nothing ever happens in your life which makes you regret your choice, I know it won't mine. Being armed is no guarantee of survival, but I like the odds much better, and I'm all about increasing my odds when it comes to defending myself. I hope all the bad guys out there continue to read posts like yours because they're going to be in for a surprise when they run into those who don't follow your way of thinking.
Perhaps if there's ever a time you're put into a situation where someone wished to do you harm, someone will be there to help you. Then again, perhaps not. Offer a hug (along with your wallet, keys, vehicle, boat, gear, and anything else they want from you, including your life) to the bad guys, let us know how that works for you.
