The Good Lord Giveth,

And He Taketh... The lake swallowed my $300 Gucci sunglasses, n I about cried..(actually I did cry, I ain't gonna lie)...however, last spring an adorable black kitty decided to be my friend, n after several attempts of trying to capture her and failing, today ATM was able to get her and put her in his truck. Unfortunately, she is already pregnant, but a friend of ours at Sardis has plenty of land, and loves cats, so he gave her a home. I will be paying to get her fixed once she has her kittens, n get her shots, ect. It used to break my heart to leave the lake without her, knowing the only time she got a good meal was when I brought her food, so knowing she will be fed n cared for absolutely tickles me. As I told ATM, if all I had to do was lose my sunglasses to get her a home, I wlda thrown them in the lake a long time ago! If anyone is thinking about adopting a kitten, or knows someone who wld like one, please let me know. I will deliver (within reason;))

Sorry about your glasses!! I would take a kitten but Shorty say ....NO WAY nonono, but glad she has a good home now!! If it was up to me and Riley we would pick up every stray puppy or kitten we saw.

It's definitely hard, I wish I could take them all in.....I hate to see animals homeless, starving and sick. I'm just thankful that there are people out there willing to help. One day I will have my place out in the country, n I'm sure I will have it filled up with animals in no time!! N these kitties will make very good outdoor kitties if u live in the country....
