I noticed this area some time ago but finally got a good side imaging pic of it. I believe it's an old road.

I've not marked any fish on it. Thoughts?
AC told me about it a few months back. but he explained it toppin out shallower than that..
nice picture and looks like a road being narrow and coming up higher than surrounding area, Did you try to follow it to a creek and see if some fish were there?
Roadbed or old dam for a pond
There where some ponds in the area before the city of norfolk flooded it.
Looks like an old dam. If the left side of your color shot is upstream it makes sense as that side is shallower from sediments and the slope on the other side is steeper. Also maybe those are stumps or debris on the upstream side. Like Getthenet said there were several pond and a mill there before Norfolk built their dam.
How was the fishing?
