Im fixing to purchase a new trolling motor for my 15' jon boat. i was looking at the minn kota V-2 power drive with a co-pilot and transducer in the foot. I have read alot of reviews and it's about 50/50 on good and bad.

Got a 55 V2 with a co-pilot that does a good job, just ordered a 101 I-pilot to replace it. A 55 V2 should pull the snot out of that 15 footer.
I'm hoping so... Going to Bass pro to get one today,
If trolling is your thing you'll be happy. Just make sure to get one with autopilot if youre not going with I-pilot. Good luck with it.:)
Check BassPro and then buy it from someone on Ebay, at least compare. Minn Kota's warranty good from both and you most likely can save some bucks.Quote:
