Most of the AGFC lakes have fishing piers, such as Harris Brake, Overcup, and Conway. You can get detailed maps at http://www.agfc.com/wma_lakes/agfc_lakes.html The commission also sinks lots of cover around these piers. Just a thought.
are any of thoes oxbows around scott ark public access?

A previous post mentioned the Game and Fish lakes which is good info. You might also consider Pickthorn on the outskirts of Jacksonville going towards Cabot. There are three piers and you can park and fish about 1/2 way around the lake. the bank is covered with a heavy duty cloth of some sort but dont even get your feet on the "wet part" you will be in the lake! Also dont leave your pole unattended, you never know what may come along from good size bass to catfish or???
The two lakes in Maumelle have been stocked by AG&F. Willowsteen has some good cat and bass in it.
