Going to HR in the morning at 5:00, and will be fishing until I can not stand the heat. I live near Kernersville, and am always looking for as fishing partner to go one or two days a week. i can tell you where not to fish. lol. we hit creeks,flats,cuts,channels. we tried from 5ft. to 16ft. we caught 50+ and not one keeper. we were longlining so we could both sit in the shade in the back of the boat. water looks great. lot of wood floating aound in the river. shad are everywhere you look. hope you can figure them out.
I can't tell you anything about keeper Crappie, but we have caught several White Bass way up in Abbots lately. Had some 15 and 16 inches long and fat. Spot the shad schools and cast a Mepps spinner around and get ready to set the hook. Good luck tomorrow.

got to HR around 6 and put in on Swearing creek hit a few dock, no luck , went to river and hit about a half dozen dock. Caught fish on all of them, with a lot of throw backs, but had 25 or so keepers by about 2:00. Hit my favorite dock and whem 15 or 20 lbs catfish, second one of the day. Lost both of them under the docks. As I am rerigging, my partner catches three or four real nice ones. Fished on about another 30 minutes with 3 or four more. ThenThunder storm ran us in. Caught 25 or so keepers on docks on main river, with a lot of throw backs. Minnows only today.
Way to find them.
Nice Catch there there just not as easy to find now
