Popeye jigs
Have a friend that wants me to start tying him some...looked up the name and have looked at all the photo's that I think I need....here is my problem, some of these weights..1/80, 1/64 I don't have those molds and the molds I can buy are not cheep.. want to build with a diffrent hook...I've spoild myself where if I have an idea...go pour it and tie...here I got to get my arms around these tiny, tiny heads and hooks...guys are using these on bridge pillings dropping them in 30+ feet with a split shot and killing them!!!simple tie...not so simple for me to do the head...any help would be great! thanks Liftbite I been on this web site just long enough to know, that someone here already has the answer!!LOL PSS have a preacher friend who uses the little popeye jigs as a evanglistic tool and gave me one....my thumb nail is bigger!!! than the jig wow

We make the 1/80th and 1/64 oz head. How many do you need?Just made some with a # 4 gold eagle claw hook for friend have been working here under a float around logs and brush.Don't have pics but will try to make some tonight and try to post maybe a couple days.

all you need is a split shot wieght and whatever hook you want to use i have been making them we call em alabama jigs just put the hook in the split shot close it tight trim it and paint and tie just a neat and simple way to tie really small jigs

"WOW" Good one ya,ll know all the tricks good thread will give it a try.Thats whats good about CDC!!!!!

You can kill em on these little alabama jigs try it don't need a mold just split shot and hook thread and hair and you have got a really deadly jig i only use a 1/8th oz jig but when they quit biting it i will downsize to a alabama jig or popeye jig works great
