can you use barrel swivels or does it have to be crane ? what size split rings do you use ? what is the size of your best performing spinner blade ? do you prefer willow, indiana or colorado blade ? I am pouring 1/4oz heads and current am using sz12 crane swivels, have heard of modifying the mold so that you can use a sz10 crane but not sure how to do it. My mold says to use sz12

I don't pour them, but can tell you I have had more than a couple barrel swivels break faster than I would like. I mean catching crappie you wouldn't think they would break much, but they do!
Definately use Crane swivels they spin so much better.
Split ring on 1/4 oz head size 0 OR look at what's called butt rings -you just squeeze them together.
Stay with the size 12 crane swivel
I do well on all three styles of blades, making your won you can try any kind of blade you want on a 1/4 although I usually stick to a size 1
Hobby Lobby carries the butt rings in the jewelry makin dept. They also have a little tool to put them on with.
