98 Lowe Crappie Boat?
I recently bought this 1998 Lowe Crappie boat. I really like it and it is in great shape. It had been garaged for at least 7 maybe more years. The problem I have is that the Livewell is leaking. It seems to be screwed down to the floor, it is under rear seat with a fish mail slot :)
The overflow seems to be working fine so I don't think the water is coming from overfilling or from splash out. I was thinking there may be a gasket between the 2 pieces that needs replaced or sealed. Any way boat has ended up wet everytime I have fished so far.
Anyone have any knowledge of this model of boat or another Lowe model that has a similar arrangement? I just hated to start tearing things apart until I get an idea what direction I am going.
Thanks!!

Try manually filling it, slowly, and let is sit between fill levels. Once you see leaked water you know have a much narrowed range of where it's leaking from. Also, if you think it's leaking from where the water recirc's at the bottom, try sealing it with some aquarium silicone available at pet shops. It's a cheap and quick fix that will actually hold for years.

Could also be a leak somewhere in one of the lines/pipes in the drain, overflow and areator setup. If you fill it up and it doesn't leak while sitting then turn on the areator and see if any of the plumbing starts leaking.

Good ideas guys! Thanks! There is actually a cover behind seat pedestal/live well that I am sure covers the plumbing. I'll take that off and check for leaks there 1st. If that isn't it then I'll go the other route.
The drain is directly out the bottom of the boat so I don't think it's a problem, but those other suggestions seem to be a strong possibility.
