I finally broke out the jig pole with a single Crappielogic jig in pink,chautruse,&black. That's what they wanted, i managed to catch about 25 and kept these few goodn's. Wish i had tried that jig to start with now, i'm sure i would've had a few more bigguns if i had

yeah, i had the same problem especially when someone who wasn't used to them was fishing with me. The only advantage the curve gives that i can see is to cup your rod if you are trolling cranks. I don't play with cranks so i didn't need the curve. i also ground the teat off of the washer in-between the holder and the rack itself. this allows each holder to turn left or right instead of locking them in place
