got a cousin here that got 2 ripe maters off a volunteer plant that came up by my back deck in dec. i dug it up and gave it to her and she put it in a green house then planted it and got the 2 ripe mater from it may 12th. and has gotten more since. that may not be a record but it's a pretty good average.
That squash commin in, real good
I got green beans about 2 inches long. Maters as big as baseballs. Got all the water bottles planted and about half of the maters mulched. Squash still had green blooms on them. I did get the wheat straw spread out under them.
