A stormy start to the fishing season.
We had our first trip of the year this weekend and the weatherman proved to be confused on there forcast. We got hit with high winds, lightning, rain and hail. We cut the trip very short, but the fish were biting like crazy. We had a triple and a couple of doubles before pulling the lines and getting back to dry land. We ended up 8 for 11, all king salmon. We could only get 6 poles in the water and the fish bit on everything. We fished in 100-160 feet of water north of the nets. This is some of the best salmon action I have ever seen, now is the time to get out fishing
